Mullen Orthodontics first priority is providing exceptional orthodontic care to our patients in a safe and healthy environment. We have changed some of our policies and procedures and implemented new ones to maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff. Please review the following changes below and feel free to contact our office with any questions.

Screening

All team members will be screened daily for signs of COVID-19. All patients and parents who come into our office will fill out a Covid-19 wellness form, which will be texted to you & have a temperature check prior to the start of their appointment.

Arriving for your appointment

When you arrive for your appointment please call or text our office to let us know that you are here, while you wait in your car. We will then respond back to let you know when you can come into the office for your appointment. To minimize the number of people entering the office, we prefer that only the patient enters the office. One parent will be allowed to accompany a minor. Any others who have come with you to the appointment need to wait in your vehicle during the appointment rather than in our waiting room.

Upon entering our office

Once you have been given the go-ahead by a member of our team to enter the office for your appointment, you will be met at the front desk by an assistant who will perform a temperature check and verify we have your Covid-19 wellness form on file. You will also be given hand sanitizer to use. Once the screening is complete, you will be escorted through the office for your appointment. It is important that the patient does not arrive late for their appointment in order to avoid any backup in our office. If you arrive late, you will need to be rescheduled for another date and time.

Safety Precautions

In addition to the safety precautions listed above our doctor and assistants will be using more than our typical level of personal protective equipment. We have added more time to each of our appointments to limit the number of people in the office at one time.
We have also lowered the number of clinical chairs that will be used each day to allow plenty of physical space between patients.

We want to thank you for your understanding and adhering to these enhanced health and safety guidelines. As always, we will continue to follow the level of universal infection control precautions per official guidelines. It is our top priority that we continue to provide exceptional patient care in a safe and healthy environment.
